John Harrington
Chief Executive Officer

John joined Propylon in 2005 and served as Chief Operations Officer for a number of years before his appointment as CEO. John has successfully led product and project development to establish Propylon as a global market leader. John is a director of the company and sits on the board.

Before joining Propylon, John worked in the telecoms industry delivering global revenue generation and billing platforms across a number of telecoms operators in the US and Europe. He holds an honors degree in business information technology from Trinity College Dublin.

Paul McKeon

Paul McKeon is founder and Chairman of Propylon. Paul is also a partner in Hogan & associates Chartered Accountants. Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 and worked in a number of roles in Corporate Finance before becoming CEO of Propylon 2000.

Paul is an experienced high technology entrepreneur and investor. Paul is also currently a non-executive director of Swrve, AMCS Group and Mianach. Paul is a founder Director of Mianach Venture Capital which has raised two funds and invested in a number of emerging Irish technology companies. Paul is also a former Director of Newbay Software Limited. Paul was involved with this company from its founding and stepped down from the Board in October 2011 when Newbay was acquired by RIM.

Sean Mcgrath
Chief Technical Officer

Sean is co-founder and CTO of Propylon. He has almost 30 years of experience in the IT industry, most of it in the legal and regulatory publishing space. He holds a first class honors degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin. He served as an invited expert to the W3C special interest group that created the XML standard in 1996. He is the author of three books on markup languages published by Prentice Hall. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences and regular contributor to the trade press. Parvin Tank
VP Strategic Alliances and Business Development

Parvin recently joined Propylon as VP Strategic Alliances and Business Development based in London. In this new role, he has responsibility for developing and growing the Propylon business and enhancing the strategy through the introduction of its products and services to corporate clients and partners.

With over 25 years of information technology experience, Parvin is a seasoned professional with years of technology insight and leadership from experience in various Thomson Reuters business units. Most recently he held the position of VP Technology UK/EMEA for the Tax & Accounting business where he led technology strategies for the region including software platforms, infrastructure and ongoing technology operations. Prior to this, he held several senior positions at Thomson Reuters including VP Technology, Science Assets for Thomson Reuters Global Resources based in Zug, Switzerland and CTO for Dialog DataStar, a Thomson Legal business based in Sunnyvale, California where he led technology strategy and operations over a large team spread across the US and Europe.

Parvin holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Studies from Loughborough University of Technology and holds a post-graduate diploma in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University.

Kieran Fitzpatrick
Engineering Manager

Kieran is Propylon's Engineering Manager and Chief Technical Architect. With over 10 years' experience delivering enterprise solutions, Kieran has been involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle. In his time at Propylon Kieran has designed and implemented solutions for a number of private and public sector clients. These solutions range from service oriented architecture, document management to N-tier systems. Kieran is responsible for ensuring LWB implementations adhere to Propylon's core architecture and principles.

As Engineering Manager Kieran is responsible for the successful development and delivery of Propylon products across the full client base. Kieran manages deliverables that meet and exceed both the short-term tactical and long-term strategic goals of the organisation.

Anne-Marie Gibbons
Head of Professional Services (SMP)

As Head of Professional Services (SMP) Anne-Marie Gibbons is responsible for the successful delivery of projects and support for Propylon's clients. Anne-Marie is an accomplished Program Manager with over 15 years industry experience. With a passion for program management and solution delivery, Anne-Marie has developed and honed her skills by successfully managing and delivering multiple international software projects and services throughout Europe and the United States.

Anne-Marie is a first rate problem solver with excellent project and change management skills. Her strong communication skills and program management expertise allow her work with clients to identify and implement strategic information technology opportunities that are aligned with their long-term goals.

Anne-Marie holds a B.A., B.A.I. (Hons) in Computer Engineering and a MSC in Management of Information systems from Trinity College, Dublin.

David Suttle
VP Product Design

David has been designing screen interfaces for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience to the interface and experience design of Propylon's products. From initial wireframes to prototypes and final product David oversees the design and interactive aspects of all projects. Using UX metrics, user feedback and scenario based design David acts as an evangelist for a user-centred design approach in Propylon. Ensuring the quality and usability of our products.

Prior to joining Propylon David has developed eLearning solutions for the financial sector and worked as an integration engineer in Apple. He also managed a design consultancy specializing in UI/UX solutions for the financial and online publishing sectors. He holds a BDes (hons) and a MA in Multimedia Technology.

Patricia Conlon
VP Global Human Resources

Patricia is VP Global Human Resources and a member of the executive team in Propylon. She is responsible for talent management, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits and the creation of a high performance culture.  She also ensures that the organisation has world class HR processes and is compliant in all relevant jurisdictions.

Patricia has 15 years financial services sector experience in Bastow Charleton and Hogan & Associates. Patricia has completed the Strategic Human Resource Management Programme at the Irish Management Institute and is a Professional Member of SHRM.

Her expertise has been derived from the high tech and finance industries. She is a specialist in the HR issues involved in start up and scaling. Her goal is to support and communicate the needs of employees and to ensure employee retention through training and growth opportunities. Her strength is demonstrated in mentoring supervisors and managers, while providing tactical and strategic guidance to senior management teams.

Fernando Ciciliati
Chief Scientist

As Propylon's Chief Scientist, Fernando follows the trends and developments of technical and academic areas like Software Development, Systems Security, Legislative Informatics and Archival Science to ensure that the products and services offered to our customers are aligned with the best practices in these domains and at the same time employ state-of-the-art technology to achieve maximum quality and effectiveness.

He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science and an MBA. He has over 15 years experience in designing and implementing solutions for Parliaments and Legislatures in several countries.

Expert in technologies like Linux, Python and REST, Fernando has responsibility for the technical architecture of Propylon's products.
