Propylon at the 2011 ESRI International User Conference

Propylon had a very rewarding week at the ESRI 2011 user conference with loads of visitors to their booth interested in how we are integrating GIS technology into our legal and regulatory management solutions. Propylon's CTO Sean McGrath's delivered a lightening talk 'Geo Designing Legislation and Regulation' and a presentation ‘GIS in the Business of Government’. Re-inventing participative Democracy, one cloud at a time


Propylon CTO, Sean McGrath, delivered a keynote presentation for the Open Government Canada webinar on June 22. The theme of the webinar was how online technologies can make the system of Government itself inherently more democratic.

In Sean's talk - 'Re-inventing participative Democracy, one cloud at a time' - he discusses the high level architecture of Propylon's LWB solution as implemented in KLISS (Kansas Legislative Information Systems and Services) and its relevance to deliberative democracy.

Cutter Consortium Summit 2010

We presented KLISS at the Cutter Consortium event in Boston. 'The Changing Face of Government IT: E-Gov Trends and Opportunities in the Coming Decade'. As well as a panel discussion there were presentations by Bob Benson and Ken Orr of Cutter, Don Heiman and Alan Weiss from the Kansas State Legislature and Propylon CTO Sean McGrath.
