Propylon is a leading global vendor of Legislative software. We work with Legislatures and Regulatory agencies in the US and Europe to solve their document management problems and use cutting edge technologies within our products to provide process efficiencies, increased collaboration, simplification of work flows and transparency of information.
Propylon has an open position for an experienced Sales Executive for the European Legal and Regulatory Market. Propylon is seeking a self-starting individual, who is confident in their ability to drive sales. Applicants should possess an existing network of contacts in the relevant markets.
Job Description
Responsibility for all phases of the sales process including lead generation, opportunity identification and qualification, proposal creation, customer presentations, market development, contract negotiations and sales closure.
This role requires an individual with a strong background in software solution sales or in the Legislative and Regulatory Arena who can identify develop and close potential deals.
Position Requirements
- Work with senior management to develop, refine, and execute the business development strategy.
- Drive the sales process from conception to deal closure.
- Identify, develop and close potential deals to bring new customers to the Propylon platform.
- Research and evaluate new strategic partners, market trends and monetization opportunities.
- Conduct strategic business planning to identify business opportunities and business partnerships, and potential revenue, costs and profitability.
- Prepare pitches, comprehensive proposals and business plans.
- Manage contract negotiations.
- Work with senior management team to develop new business offerings.
Your Profile – Essential
- 5+ years in business development or Sales preferably with experience of the publishing, legislative or regulatory markets.
- Self-starter with strong analytic, quantitative, problem solving, skills and proven ability to organize and present information and convey a compelling vision and strategy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Startup experience a strong plus.
