Propylon Partners with State of Kansas to Update Legislative Applications

Propylon, Inc. today announced that it has signed a contract with the State of Kansas for the first phase of a multi-year engagement to deploy Legislative Workbench, Propylon’s integrated lawmaking application. The engagement was announced at the Annual Meeting of the National Conference of State Legislatures.

The engagement provides for a detailed fit analysis of the Kansas Legislature’s needs in the areas of bill drafting, chamber automation, and decision support, evaluated against Legislative Workbench. The analysis will demonstrate how the state’s adoption of the software could deliver efficiencies, cost savings and innovative new services across the entire legislative process.

Legislative Workbench will be deployed in phases, and will replace the current mainframe system. The project is expected to take three years.
