The Propylon Management Team
Paul McKeon, Chief Executive Officer
Paul is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Propylon. In addition to managing the operational aspects of the company, Paul is responsible for Propylon’s strategic leadership and for handling consultancy work relating to the specialist eGovernment field. He has acted as a senior consultant to the Irish government on a number of ground-breaking XML projects. Paul is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Sean McGrath, Chief Technology Officer
Sean McGrath is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Propylon. He is responsible for the technical direction of the company and for providing the technical leadership to the Propylon team. He also heads up the research arm of Propylon specializing in the eContent and publishing areas of Propylon’s operation. Sean is an industry-recognized XML expert who served as an invited contributor to the original W3C committee that developed the XML 1.0 standard in 1998, and is the author of three books on markup languages (two on XML and one on SGML). He has been blogging on technology topics since 2002. Sean has also been a columnist for ITWorld for the past six years.
Clyde Hatter, Vice President, Legislative Solutions
Clyde Hatter works with the US legislative community to ensure that Propylon products continue to surpass the needs of the market. He has extensive experience as a project manager, technical writer, consultant and parliamentary technologist, and has worked on document authoring systems for the pharmaceutical and telecommunication sectors. Clyde frequently serves the world legislative community as a speaker and expert.
Conor O'Reilly, Vice President, Engineering
Conor O'Reilly is responsible for the technical design of Propylon products, including the Legislative Workbench suite for legislative and regulatory automation. He has over 15 years’ experience in the application design and software architecture field, the latter five years of which have been involved in the development of projects using SGML, XML and related standards and their application in practice throughout Europe.
John Harrington, Vice President, Professional Services
John is responsible for the strategic direction, commercial results and delivery success of Propylon’s professional services. John is a PMI practitioner and firm believer in delivering quality through using structured methodologies tailored to the needs of our clients. He has worked with a number of public and private sector organizations at a project and program level to ensure high quality delivery of their business needs.
Tracy Gamble, Vice President, Business Development
Tracy manages Propylon’s business development activity. Her unique background combines private-sector marketing and management with state legislative analysis and political campaign communications work, from local elections to Congressional.
